Pick your tutor and subscribe through Stripe. That's the whole checkout.
We email you the joining details
You'll get an email from us with instructions to join our Slack workspace. Slack is free and takes a couple of minutes to set up on your phone or laptop.
Your private channel with your tutor
Once you've joined Slack, you'll have a private channel with your tutor, just the two of you. This is where everything happens: questions, homework, past papers and essays, sent across the week whenever you're stuck.
Parents can message the tutor directly
Want to talk to the tutor yourself? Parents can request the tutor's phone number and message them directly about what you'd like from the tutoring. You're never out of the loop.
Live sessions are separate
Prefer live, face-to-face help too? One-on-one sessions are booked and paid separately with your tutor, on top of the subscription.

The bits parents ask
How does async tutoring work?
There are no scheduled lessons in the subscription. You get a private Slack channel with your tutor and message them by text, voice note or video across the week. Send a question, an essay or short-answer response for marking, homework you're stuck on, or a past paper to work through. Your tutor also shares study notes, and help lands when you actually need it, not at a fixed hour. Live one-on-one sessions are booked and paid separately.
What if my tutor isn't the right fit?
Cancel anytime and try someone else. There's no lock-in, and each tutor's marks and personality are on their profile, so it's easy to pick well the first time.
How do you verify results?
We check every tutor's HSC results against their official record before they can teach. The marks you see on a profile are real, and every tutor holds a valid NSW Working With Children Check.
What subjects are covered?
Right now: Maths from Standard through to Extension, English Advanced and Extension, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Modern History, Ancient History, History Extension, Geography, and Design and Technology. Each profile lists exactly what that tutor covers, and we're adding tutors as we grow.
How does billing work?
The subscription is billed weekly through Stripe at the price your tutor sets, and you can cancel anytime. One-on-one sessions aren't part of the subscription. You book and pay for those separately with your tutor.
Every Allrounder tutor is a recent high-achieving HSC graduate and holds a valid NSW Working With Children Check.
